Transition Year pupils taking part in the Limerick Fire and Rescue Service Transition Year Programme on Fire Safety at Mulgrave Street station in Limerick. Schools taking part included CBS Sexton Street, Gaelcholaiste Luimnigh, St Munchin's, Laurel Hill, Crescent College Comprehensive, St Clement's, Castletroy College and Ardscoil Ris. The programme includes a week long work experience in manual handling, basic first aid, use of fire extinguishers and introductory fire fighting theory and skills.
