Riverdance composer Bill Whelan today said that the Riverdance ‘homecoming’ in Limerick next January is a lifelong dream fulfilled.  <br />

Composed by Bill Whelan,  produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan, the global phenomenon Riverdance, will be the flagship January event for the year-long Limerick National City of Culture 2014 celebrations as it makes its long awaited debut in Whelan’s home city on Thursday, January 16th for a six-show stint, including two matinees, through to Sunday, January 19th.  It will then move on to nine other European countries in the first half of next year.<br />
