15/5/13.A final-year BA Journalism and New Media student  from the University of Limerick has won the inaugural 'Live95FM Award for Broadcasting'.  Fionnuala Corbett (21) from Gurteen in Co Galway has won the Award for a documentary examining the plight of people living with Parkinson's Disease. It includes an interview with the broadcaster and Eurovision winner Shay Healy..The award is supported by Live95FM, and is awarded to the student who produces a radio documentary on an issue of social importance, of a truly excellent standard. This is the first year the Award has been presented..It, and a number of other Awards, were presented at a special ceremony at the University of Limerick today (Wednesday May 15).
